Browser Requirements
Southern Empire Arena runs the game using WebGL — a technology built into all modern browsers. For the best experience, use a recent version of one of the following:
Google Chrome
Latest version recommended
Mozilla Firefox
Latest version recommended
Microsoft Edge
Latest version recommended
Apple Safari
Latest version recommended
Desktop and laptop computers provide the best experience. The game may function on tablets and mobile devices with WebGL support, but the layout is optimised for larger screens.
Enabling Sound
Most browsers block audio until a user interacts with a page. If you open the game and hear no sound:
- 1.Click or tap anywhere inside the game area to give the game focus.
- 2.Check that your device volume is turned up and not muted.
- 3.Inside the game, open the Settings menu (the cog/gear icon) and ensure sound is enabled.
- 4.If your browser shows a muted tab icon, click it to unmute the tab.
Game Not Loading
If the game loading screen does not progress or the game fails to start:
- 1.Refresh the page and wait 15–30 seconds. The game assets are moderately large on first load.
- 2.Check your internet connection is stable.
- 3.Try a different browser (Chrome or Firefox are recommended).
- 4.Disable browser extensions such as ad blockers temporarily — some extensions interfere with WebGL content.
- 5.Make sure hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser settings.
Coin Balance Reset
Your virtual coin balance is stored in your browser’s local storage. If your balance has reset to the starting amount, one of the following may have occurred:
- Browser data, cookies, or site data was cleared.
- You are using a different browser or device from your previous session.
- You opened the site in a private or incognito browsing window.
All virtual coins exist purely for entertainment and have no monetary value. A balance reset simply returns you to the starting amount — you haven’t lost anything of real-world significance.
